As Mother’s Day approaches, I have been reflecting on my own Mom and her impact in my life. She is such a special lady, and she means the world to me!! You see, my 93 year-young Mom is the one who encouraged me to go into the Floral Business when I needed another direction in my life that would bring me joy. It was at her encouragement that I attended and graduated from the Canadian Institute of Floral Design in Toronto. She knew I would love this business and since working in the industry, I have to say she was RIGHT!

This past month I traveled to Europe to see the flowers of the Netherlands and Monet’s Garden just outside of Paris, France. My Mom always says how important flowers are in our lives and these gardens were a beautiful confirmation of this fact.

For the month of May, “Mothers” are being celebrated by Blooms by Bloy, along with beautiful flowers and greenery that inspire us to feel Joy, Comfort, Love and Peace. Our Mother’s Day arrangements can be given to any person who portrays the characteristics and gifts of “Loving Motherhood”.
